We recently installed a Fabertec M2 2030 CNC Router and E2 Edgebander for a shopfitting company based in Warwick, a team that designs and builds interiors for retail, hospitality, and commercial spaces. The M2 2030 handles the panel processing side, cutting full sheets of MDF, plywood, or melamine boards into precise parts for cabinets, counters, shelving, and wall features. With its heavy-duty bed, vacuum hold-down, and high-speed spindle, it allows their team to cut multiple parts with accuracy and repeatability.

Once the parts are cut, the E2 Edgebander takes over to apply clean edging to exposed sides, giving every panel a finished, professional look. The edge banding process not only improves aesthetics but also adds durability, especially important in high-traffic commercial environments.

With this setup, they can now handle everything in-house, from cutting to finishing, reducing reliance on external suppliers and speeding up project delivery without compromising quality.
