Introducing the latest addition to our line of advanced fiber laser cutter - THE FL3 Fiber Laser model. This powerful machine is equipped with a single table with full enclosure designed to provide unmatched precision. Equipped with a fully retractable table, the FL3 enables seamless workflow transitions, allowing operators to clear cut parts swiftly and load new sheets with ease, reducing downtime and maximizing productivity.

Furthermore, its full enclosure, coupled with the optional metal dust extraction system, guarantees a clean and safe working environment, protecting both your machinery and your operators from harmful particles.

FL3 - Space-Saving, Gas Control, and Future-Proof Upgradability

All the machines’ parts and electronics are integrated in the body. Only chiller and larger kW laser sources are placed on the side or back of machine. This solution helps with limited workshop spaces, which most of us have to deal with. As a standard, in every FL3 fiber laser cutter, there are 3 separate gas inlets controlled by electric valves from the software level. Compressed Air, Oxygen and Nitrogen can be changed in a second. 

We are fabricators – we understand you don’t have time to run around the machine and change hoses every 2 hours. As with other models, we always design our fiber laser cutter with upgradeability in mind. Laser head, controller, software and structure of the machine is prepared for up to 6kW laser source power. To upgrade your cutting capability, you just need to replace laser source and chiller from 2kW to 6kW for example. From 6kW to 15kW we have to even further upgrade components of the FL3 to cope with higher speeds and thicker metal sheets. 

Note: With enclosed fiber laser cutter, like FL3 or FL4, we strongly recommend investing in metal particle extraction system.

LASER SOURCE - THE HEART OF FIBER LASER CUTTING MACHINES

In all fiber laser cutting machines, the laser source is one of the most important parts that allows for smooth and accurate cuts. At FABERTEC we offer German/US-made IPG source or more affordable MAX/RAYCUS source.

Before 2024, we thought that IPG is the best laser source but after we received training in laser source repairs and we opened first in UK repair centre FIBER DOCTOR we look at MAX / RAYCUS brands with much more respect. 

MAX/RAYCUS source cost roughly 30-40% of the IPG brand and they cutting with the same quality/speed and accuracy like more expensive brands.

What's most important in our opinion is the fact that those affordable brands can be repaired with ease, spare parts are available and they designed to be more open for service centres.

All of course is dependable on your budget and preference. At FABERTEC we will install in our UK branch whatever source you may prefer.

When cutting reflective materials like brass/copper you have to make sure you will be piercing material without bounce back light going back to laser source. Any damage from laser coming back to source may not be honoured by the manufacturer.

Delivery

We provide free of charge delivery of the FL3 machine. On the Client side you will need forklift 3t-5t with 1600-2400mm forks (dependable on model) to unload and position in workshop. After delivery our friendly and patient engineers will visit your workshop to finalise installation, commission and provide training.  

Don't worry if on first day you may not be very fluent with all operations (most operators cut on their machines in about 1h). We will provide you with our WhatsApp number where engineers will help if stuck or doubt. 

Warranty

  • 24 Months on-site parts and labour warranty included.
  • Option to extend up to 5 years.
  • Obligatory maintenance visits every 6 months to keep your machine in top condition £600 + travel time (£80/h).

LASER HEAD - THE "FOCUS" OF THE MACHINE

  • The cooling structure, for both the collimation module and focus module, and cooling to the nozzle effectively protects the nozzle & ceramic part and extends the lifespan.
  • 4 cover glass designed to effectively decrease contamination risk during the replacement of fiber & cover glass and extend the lifespan of collimation and focus lenses.
  • Autofocus by moving the collimation lens to achieve higher speed and a bigger auto-focus range.
  • Monitoring the temperature of the bottom cover glass could be accessed by a mobile APP or computer desktop in real-time. Alarm output for overheating to protect the optical path system effectively.
  • Improved autofocus motor for rapid focus length change.

Fully enclosed FL3 model keeps all laser light and metal dust contained inside the machine body. Green screens specially designed for 1064um wave length protects operators.
