At Fabertec, we know that joiners and cabinet makers don't have time to spend months hunting for the right machines. That’s why, after a long process of designing, carefully selecting parts, and training our factory team to meet British quality standards, we launched five new edgebanders to perfectly match your CNC and handle your entire panel production—all in one place. (Yes, with a CNC router and an edgebander, you won’t need any other heavy machinery if you're using surface-mounted fixings.)

Starting with the E1, it's our most affordable model, especially considering it comes with premilling as standard and runs up to 16 meters per minute. This makes the E1 one of the best-value edgebanders with this spec available in the UK.

Next up is the E2, which also includes premilling (because we believe every edgebander should - saving you time on CNC design by avoiding special panel sizing, chip outs, and rough edges). Plus, it comes with corner rounding as standard—meaning no post-finishing, no extra buffing, just clean panels ready to ship or fit. And yes, it runs at a fast 18–20 meters per minute.

The E2M is a compact version of the E2, measuring just 4900mm in length. We’ve kept all the key features of the larger E2, with the only difference being a slightly slower belt speed to suit the tighter, more compact design without compromising on performance or causing constant maintenance issues.

Then there’s the E3 - a fully loaded powerhouse built to run at an impressive 30 meters per minute. It features two glue lines: one top-fed for EVA granules (ideal for thicker panels, ensuring consistent glue coverage) and a second one for PUR adhesive, perfect for high-moisture areas like kitchens and bathrooms. Compared to the E2, the E3 steps up with 4 independent corner rounding motors, double buffing stations, a heavier build, and a computer-operated system. If you’re planning to take on big names like Wren Kitchens or Benchmark, the E3 is the machine for you.

ROUGH CALCULATION OF EDGES PER HOUR

Below is a simple guide to give you an idea of how many edges each Fabertec edgebander can process in an hour. This is based on edging a 500mm panel with a 150mm gap between panels, under perfect conditions—meaning no stops for adding glue, edging material, or clearing any jams.

Please treat this as a rough estimate, not an absolute figure.

E1 – Around 1,400 edges per hour
E2 – Around 1,800 edges per hour
E3 – Around 2,700 edges per hour

Of course, in real-world use, you should roughly halve these numbers. This takes into account the time needed for the operator to reposition panels, load edging and glue, and carry out basic maintenance. If we’re talking about edging shelves sized 500x500mm all around, you could expect approximately:

E1 – 175 shelves per hour
E2 – 225 shelves per hour
E3 – 337 shelves per hour

As always at Fabertec, we stock all spare parts, including blades, scrapers, belt sections, and anything else you might need. If you order by 2 PM, we aim to deliver the part the very next day. For warranty issues, we send our engineers out with the necessary spare parts to handle the most common problems—because anyone who’s worked with edgebanders knows how important it is to keep modules and working areas clean from glue and board residues.
